Grab Bars in Tile

Here are some of the jobs that we have completed that were installed in ceramic tile, porcelain tile and other types of stone. Keep scrolling down to see other areas where Grab Bars can be beneficial for improving the safety of your loved ones.

Grab Bars in Fiberglass and Tub Surrounds

Here is a collection of some of the jobs that were installed in Fiberglass and other types of Tub Surrounds. Fiberglass units are very challenging because of the architectural curves, accessory shelves and non-square corners. The grab bars have to be installed on a flat surface and because of the specialized anchors needed fiberglass units are not recommended for people weighing over 300 lbs.

Other Common Grab Bar Installation Locations

There are many other areas around the home where Grab Bars can play an important role in improving an individual’s ability to safely function. We are routinely asked to replace towel bars (not designed to support a person during a fall) with Grab Bars that are designed to support a person during a fall. One area that many people overlook is next to the toilets in their bathrooms and powder rooms, having a Grab Bar strategically placed can make getting onto and off the toilet easier, and safer. Perhaps there is a single step to get into the house from the garage or patio that is difficult to navigate.
